In this blog, we are going to explore the GoLift’s weight capacity and height capabilities so that you can make an informed decision when choosing the right hoist for your needs.
Enjoy greater lifting heights with GoLift
The slimline design of the GoLift makes it an ideal choice for environments with limited/low ceiling heights, such as cottages, listed buildings and garage conversions where ceiling heights can be as much as 400mm lower than a modern building.
Typically, the GoLift can lift patients an extra 100-250mm higher compared to other ceiling hoists on the market – something which can make a big difference when it comes to safely transferring service users and minimising impact on carers. This additional height is especially critical for larger/heavier patients who tend to hang lower in the sling compared to their lighter counterparts.
Small but mighty
You might think that the small stature of the GoLift would compromise its weight-bearing capabilities, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. You can choose from four different models of GoLift depending on the weight capacity required. These are:
GO-LIFT 400 – weight capacity 28st
GO-LIFT 450 – weight capacity 32st
GO-LIFT 700 – weight capacity 50st
GO-LIFT B1000 – weight capacity 72st
These different capacities mean there is a GoLift suitable for every patient regardless of their size.
With no compromise on weight capacity and unrivalled lift capabilities, the GoLift is the perfect ceiling hoist for both new installations and upgrades to existing hoist systems.
