Eclipse Leisure Centre has been completed by Willmott Dixon – the largest wet and dry leisure centre in the UK (so far) to achieve the stringent Passivhaus standard!
Designed by GT3 Architects for Spelthorne Borough Council, the £43.5m project opened in October 2024.
As part of the design process, CareSpaces was asked to inform and design the Changing Places layout. A 2-door design, accessed from both wet and dry areas, leads in to a large room with a shower.

The GoLift XY track system is suspended from brackets bolted to the masonry walls, and is designed to transport users across the whole room.
A Coral Maxi mobile shower trolley is provided which allows maximum flexibility of positioning within the room, and allows carers to access the trolley from both sides.
Height-adjustable support rails make the WC even more accessible for users of ages
