Haven School

Haven Short Stay School, Blackpool, underwent a renovation during 2021 and as part of the works included an accessible hygiene room.

Care Spaces was pleased to support the main contractor by designing and installing a ceiling hoist system to serve the new room.

Due to the nature of the building and the internal renovations, there were no structural supports available for the hoist system. In this situation we used our slimline wall posts which transfer the load of the hoist down to the floor slab.

This allowed our team to install the hoist into the room in one visit, minimising upheaval and cost for the project.
